Good question?? I re-watched that scene and can't figure out how they did it. No visable clues I can find. That is the actual Koach...no mock up. They must have used some sort of strap/cable rig maybe right behind the motor(out of camera's view) to pull up the front end. It's done with ease and in real time with no camera tricks. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v123/apennyworth/munsters/Koachelevated.jpg ..another thing I just noticed is watch the Drag strip scene w/ the Drag-u-la..in far away shots it's Grandpa's double (not Al Lewis, it's a guy with a face mask), and notice the red/white/blue draping banner is flowing in the wind, in the close up shots it's Al Lewis of course, and the banner is still, maybe just an added background still shot insert done at the studio? (p.s. there has never been any visual/actual proof so far that a rear section of a mock-up Batmobile was ever used.)
