I finally got to meet George Barris today and I have to say, what a kind and gentle man he is. (Here's a play by play).First thing this morning he signed my car and we took pics of him doing this and then we took pics of him and I standing behind the coffin car and then with George, my wife and I standing behind the car and then he handed his own camera to my wife and wanted pics for himself with the car and then he got his camera back and took pics of the car for his self.We talked for a few and he said that he was very impressed by the job that I had done.I told him that I came for the autograph and was leaving to go to anothere show and he asked me to stay at this show and park my car out on the front lawn in front of the country club and advertise for the car show( sort as a kick off for the show)so, how could I turn the man down.This car show had alot of very rare and expensive cars at it like million doller cars and my car was the first and last car that every body seen when they enterd and left.So I wasn't entered in the show it's self but,I got what you mite say best of show by the public.So many people went in and came back out from the show to tell me that I had the best one there.I thank these people!Many people thought that sence George was there that my car was the real movie car.I forgot the best part, George handed me his card and told me to call him when he gets back home this week that he would like to keep in touch and talk to me about the car and would like better pics. I have to say he is an amazing person as he makes his way through the croud and signes autograph and takes time for pictures and pays attention to kids.I don't think that anybody leaves without meeting him first.He's just one of the guys.My hats off to you Mr. Barris, you are a kind and gentle man!
