I just used some solid (not stranded) wire of, what seems to be, the proper diameter and copied the kit part as best I could. I had to make separate "loops" to add to the larger support section and then super glue them in place (use waxed paper to cover your work area). The mounting (flat pieces) were made of .020 sheet styrene that was scored (cut part way through) and bent to match the original kit part. To center the "wrought iron" on the flat part, I laid the "flat" section on the waxed paper and used a shim of the proper thickness to support the bent wire so as to place it at the midline. The scratch build of the perch supports was trial and error, bending and checking the fit over and over until I got it close as I could. Hope that helps and sorry for taking so long... Craig
