I've noticed that they're different, too. I think it was added to do car shows. It wasn't in the series. I'm guessing because it was on the AMT Koach model kit box, it was put on for appearances right from the beginning. Then removed for filming and replaced for other functions. For all I know it might have been a replaceable door face OR a replaceable door OR a decal OR detail paint. That I can't answer for sure. My best, Ernie
