These pictures were taken by
Drag-u-la Builder Friday night/Saturday
morning January 7/8, 2005 inside the Planet Hollywood restaurant inside Caesar's
Palace Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. It was after business
hours and was supervised by the manager. DB got up on a ladder and
took about 200 pictures. Sadly, the airlines x-ray machine destroyed almost half of them before
the film was even developed. These will be added a few at a time.
DB has about 100 pictures and plans to take more. I opened a PhotoBucket
account to store some of the bigger pictures (and eventually I'll get
some uploaded, too!) There will be angles and details you've never seen.
When I get time to scan them all, I'll add more. The ones that are
here are the best shots. There's a lot more!
This IS the original Drag-U-La!
It was modified from
the TV version for the Munster, Go Home
movie. After which was slightly remodeled again during repairs
after it's use in the movie. In the movie it ran down a picket
fence and at the end of the race slammed into the bottom of the
bleachers, too. Marks from those stunts still remain to this
day. We'll get to that later. It's pretty dusty, but it's
been hanging there for a number of years. It hasn't been cleaned
for quite a while.
(As you can see by the balloon remnant in the seat, over the years it
picked up a lot more than dust!)
Thanks DB for the amazing effort to get these
fantastic pictures!
On to the pictures!
